Bio
Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, I grew up with a passion for art and craft. I learned how to sew when I was young, and quickly decided I wanted design to be a integral part of my life. At Oregon State University I found a home working for the University Theatre Costume Shop. I studied Apparel Design and Visual Arts, focusing on technical construction, as well as color and print. After graduating from Oregon State with an Honors Bachelors of Science in Apparel Design, I now am working on an MFA in the Fashion Design and Society Program at Parsons, in New York City. I aspire to work with interdisciplinary designers and communities to solve problems concerning sustainability and social justice on a ground level.
